Rules & How To
We kind of just want to have fun but there are still some rules you'd need to take note off.
There'll be 31 different AU's or genre for each day throughout December.
Your fic must circulate around Kai & Sehun pairing, both romantic and platonic relationship is accepted.
Submitted fics will be published accordingly to specific day's theme. If there's no submission for a particular day (sad face) then there'll be no update for it.
You are not obliged to participate for every single day, although multiple days of participants are highly encouraged.
You can submit multiple fics for the same day, there's no limit to it.
There's no maximum limit to the number of fics an author could submit. Seriously, the more you send in, the better.
You can choose which day/AU/genre you would like to write for.
Minimum length is 1000 words & there's no maximum limit.
Your word can be of any rating: from PG to R or NC-17. However, please include appropriate warnings, if any.
Not a fan of writing long fics? You can send in artworks too! Either in form of comics or just a one page art. We welcome any sort of participation.
Please refrain yourself from uploading or sharing your works on your own social media platforms, be it AFF, TW, FB, etc before the according date arrives.
However, you can still get hyped with the event on your social media accounts. Use #sekaificfest and share your enthusiasm. You can share that you're joining or writing for the event but please do not reveal which or what kind of fic you're working on specifically.
Once the event is over or your corresponding date passed, you can freely post your fic anywhere you'd like.

Head over to this link and fill the form, then you can start choosing which theme you'd like to work on.
Fillers
If it happens that there's no participant for a certain day, we will put up a notice and the list of days with none or with very little participants, in hope there'll be fillers who'd like to work on the less popular theme.

Once you finished your fic, email the detail format as stated below to [email protected] and attach your word document with the email.
You should email your work at least two days before your date but early submissions are highly encouraged so we can find filler writers.
Please make sure the doc is not locked or password protected.
Make sure your work is properly formatted & with appropriate warning
We will directly copy & paste your work onto our page so we won't be responsible on any mispelling, formatting error of your writing. We encourage you to get your works beta-ed or at least self proof-read.
Do not publish your fic elsewhere until your theme date arrives.

Provide us link to your work so we can publish it in our thread and link it to your story page. Send the link via DM to our Twitter account or email it to us.

FAQ

1. When will the fics be posted and how many fics are posted a day?
Starting Dec 1, fics will be posted accordingly. For example, there're 3 submissions on Day 1 thus all 3 fics will be revealed on the said day. All fics submitted for the said day will be revealed regardless the number of entry on that day.
2. What if there's no submission for a particular day?
If there's no fic submitted for the day then the mods will have to skip the day. However, we will approach filler authors and request them to write something so that particular day won't be so dull.
3. Who's posting the fics?
Authors can choose whether to post the fics by themselves or email them to us:
a. If author emailed their fic to us, we'll post it as chapter in our AFF thread here. Due to changes, please keep yourself updated with the event.
b. If author decided to post on their own account, firstly please email us the details as stated in format above and once your fic's day arrives, DM the link to your fic to our Twitter. Instead of the whole fic, we'll only post the details format and direct link to your fic.
4. When do authors need to upload their fics, if they chose to post on their accounts?
The fics should not be revealed until the corresponding day of your chosen theme. If the platform you chose allows draft saving, then upload your fic and save it as draft then send the link to us at least one day before your date. If the platform does not allow draft then upload on the said date and immediately send the link to us.
5. Are the authors anonymous and be revealed afterwards or not?
Authors will be revealed as soon as the fic is up on our list. However, author can personally request to be anonymous.
6. Which platforms are allowed?
Any platform that you can post your fics. From AFF, AO3, Livejournal, Wattpad, Wordpress, Blogspot — wherever you prefer. The important part is that to send us the link and mention this Fic Fest Event in your post.
7. Does this event has collection on AO3?
For the time being, no but we might create one in the near future.
8. Where can you keep track of our latest update and news?

9. On Day 9 for example, the theme is "Cross-dress / Cosplay," does this mean the fic should be about both cross-dressing and cosplaying?
Yes... and no. The theme is actually Cross-dress or Cosplay. So, author can choose whether to go for cross-dress or cosplay. However, author can still choose to go for both as well.
10. What if several authors chose the same theme?
There's absolutely no problem with that. Our main aim for this fic festival is to gather writers and encourage them to write as much fic as they could. The more the better. There is no limit to anything. Adding to that, one author can submit more that one fic for the same theme as well.
